I had a life that looked perfect from the outside.

Twin daughters. A house in the suburbs. A husband who travelled. On paper it was everything.

It was during that chapter that WishChick was first conceived...born from a quiet need for connection, for fun, for a space where women could remember themselves.

Until the day I finally asked the questions I had been quietly avoiding...and everything changed.

Leaving took more courage than I knew I had. WishChick got shelved while I focused on what mattered most...rebuilding myself and raising my girls.

But on the other side of that season was something I hadn't expected...myself. Fully, finally, unapologetically myself.

And WishChick was waiting right where I left it.

About

My girls arrived twelve minutes apart and were completely their own people from their very first moment..Morgan with her eyes wide open before she was even fully delivered and Jordan full of love and held first by a family friend who was in the room before I even had her in my arms.

I should tell you... when I was seven years old I announced that when I grew up I was going to have twin girls. I didn't wonder if it would happen. I just knew.

Two young women living fully and on their own terms, still going through their lives with eyes and hearts wide open, each carving out her own remarkable path. One is a business dynamo who is currently building something extraordinary alongside me. The other is a pastry chef and model... which means when I say they are the icing on the cake, I mean it more literally than you might think.

I look at them and I see women who know who they are and refuse to dim. I like to think WishChick had something to do with that.

I know they had everything to do with who I am and what I've become.

When the time was exactly right, a man named Arthur came into my life.

What started as a brief professional introduction became something else entirely...quietly, gradually, and then all at once. He has a way of being gracious and attentive, a charisma that never announces itself, and a complete and utter lack of interest in limitations of any kind.

There were a few early moments that still make me smile ...the kind of stories best told over a glass of wine in person.

We got married and haven't stopped moving since.

Arthur is the first person in my life I have felt safe enough with to relax my need to control everything. He is a visionary, a strategist, a genuinely charismatic human who sees possibility everywhere he looks...and somehow he pointed all of that energy at building a life with me.

We split our time between Coal Harbour in Vancouver and the Costa del Sol just outside Marbella in Spain.
We travel as often as we can. We believe that a life without limitations isn't a fantasy...it's a decision.

This is why I'm Here

I've lived both sides of this story. The dimmed version and the fully lit one.

I know what it feels like to lose yourself quietly over time. And I know what it feels like to find yourself again...and then build something beyond anything you imagined.

WishChick is the space I wish I'd had. For women who are ready to stop waiting, answer the gentle questions, and start showing up for their own lives.

You belong here.

I still wear more sparkle than my daughters think I should and use the cry-laugh emoji. Suck it, Gen Z.
